Jesus said, “Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” (Matthew 5:44/NLT)
Who does this? Who prays for their enemies?
“Enemies” can be found in families, churches, schools, neighborhoods, on Facebook, in Muslim countries, and in public office. We have all been affected by liars, cheats, abusers, and persecutors.
The “normal” first reaction to an enemy is not love or prayer. However, God promises blessing to those who go against normal and obey His command.
God has always granted some a degree of suffering that demands a hope in Him. Perhaps in these difficult times to come the some will becoming the many. This would be a blessing… not the one we had been hoping for, but a true blessing from God!
Pray for President Obama…he is not the one we had hoped for, but must be a true blessing from God! (I Timothy 2:1-4)
The goal of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it!
