Ambiguous Republicans

Ambiguity-“Doubtful or uncertain…open to more than one interpretation.”

Once a preacher of the Word, Rob Bell now questions everything once held as biblical truth. What is the value of a leader who stands for nothing? His 2011 book, “Love Wins,” earned him a ticket out of Michigan and the title of “Ambiguous Evangelical.”

The Republican Party may take a lesson from Pastor Bell. Just a month after losing the election, Republicans seem to be begging for the ambiguous label. Former commitments to life, liberty, and freedom are being questioned by leadership. The basic tenants of the Party Platform in June are being revised or ignored.

Conservatism does not seem “popular” at this time…but it is right! Those who know what’s right must lead!  This nation, founded “under God,” needs leaders who will not alter their convictions.

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (I Corinthians 15:58/NIV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it.
