Puneby

As a very young boy, Carey was abandoned under a bridge. His severely clubbed feet and scoliosis made him an outcast in India. Christians invited him into their home, where he helped our infant daughter, and eventually met us. After returning to the US with our new child we began investigating surgical options for Carey.  It took 3 years, but he finally received care at the Shriner’s Hospital in Chicago.

Carey’s physical recovery was painful…adding to his troubles were the language and cultural barriers.  When he got especially frustrated he would exclaim, “Puneby!” After some research we discovered that Puneby was his interpretation of, “Whatever!”

When pressed with questions on Benghazi, our Secretary of State exclaimed frustration with…”What difference does it make!” After months of stalling and six hours of obfuscation, it is clear that there is nothing to learn from this woman. No truth shall leave her lips…Congress can ask questions, but she will not be pinned down. She succeeds in acknowledging “responsibility”… while escaping it!

After watching Hillary’s testimony today I must agree with Carey…Puneby!

“There are six things that the Lord hates…haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” (Proverbs 6:16-19/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it!
