BOB

By: Susan Bea Good

The Bug Out Bag is a 72-hour emergency-pack, designed to assist in the escape of an individual from a threat area. The standard BOB contains life-saving essentials such as a flashlight, radio, matches, compass, knife, protein bars, water, shelter, and cash. Some include a companion bag with weapons and ammo.

“Preppers” have BOBs…one for each family member. In addition to the bags, these super-ready people have plans to survive a disaster…meet-up locations, alternate travel routes, and secret stashes, are included. The greatest challenge to a Prepper is the unknown…when, where, or how a disaster will strike.

A reliable Source has already issued a warning for the worst disaster ever…expected to hit the entire world “soon.” Signs have been available for thousands of years…to those who would look.

God has promised to end man-centered governments, and set up His perfect rule over the world. This tumultuous change will be precipitated by seven terrifying years…ending badly for most. A standard BOB will be of little use…neither matches, flashlights, nor weapons will be sufficient to save you during this time.

“Surviving” will require preparations of a completely different sort….the only answer is escape!  The “eternal prepper” must listen to God’s Word, humble himself, and ask for the one thing that will save him…forgiveness through Jesus Christ!

This person has nothing to fear, today or tomorrow. The forgiven are truly prepared!

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it!
