I never take “No” for an answer…well almost never. This morning I opened my online bank statement and discovered a charge from Stamps.com. I hadn’t used them in weeks, and in fact had only used them once. I wondered why I was being charged $15.99.
It seems that the one time I did use the postage service I was automatically signed up for a “free one month trial.” Unbeknownst to me, this “free” included a monthly “fee” if not canceled.
Have you ever been told “can’t be done, sorry about that, too bad lady?” I have, many times. If I stopped every time I was told to, I would be a very poor lady indeed!
OK, so after calling Stamps.com and being told “No” three different ways, I got a full refund…success!
Some successes are small, like a fifteen dollar refund in “2-5 business days.” But many successes are huge and provide riches for a lifetime. Two of mine are named Bethany and Lydia.
So glad I didn’t take, “No” for an answer!
(The Apostle Paul) “But you know all about me. You know what I teach and the way I live. You know my goal in life. You know my faith, my patience, and my love. You know that I never stop trying.” (2 Timothy 3:10/ESV)
