Brian Ellis is running for Justin Amash’s House seat in Michigan. Both Republicans are endorsing adds described as “sickening.”
Ellis doesn’t like being accused of raising taxes and wasteful spending while on a local school board. Justin Amash doesn’t like being accused of voting for sex-selection abortions.
The “Michigan Right to Life” has removed its endorsement of Republican Congressman Justin Amash, stating that his vote against the 2013-HR447 Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act was “shameful!” The law would have given government the power to prosecute a doctor who performed an abortion based on the gender of the unborn. This proposed law would not have made a single abortion illegal. Instead it would have created an unprecedented “Thought Crime”…something the stand-alone Representative Amash bravely voted against.
Here in America any woman can abort any baby, at anytime, and for any reason…unwanted race, wrong gender, bad timing, poor finances, angry boyfriend, or female mood swing! Instead of playing games in Congress, trying to “restrict” abortions, why aren’t our representatives demanding a total repeal to the murderous ’73 Supreme Court decision?
Justin Amash’s opponants, many in his own party, try to discredit him with accusations that he is “a rebel, hardliner, a thorn in the side of leadership, not a traditional Republican, an unabashed Libertarian, and a Constitutional Conservative.” Sounds like the the type of representative we need in the highest governing positions.
Perhaps Justin Amash will join another Constitutional Conservative and make a run for the White House in 2016. This thought will sicken the RINOs, but it would incite a strong conservative hope for the renewed health of this once great nation.
