Held by the Enemy?

Bowe Bergdahl-2By: Susan Bea Good

In 2009 US Army Private Bowe Bergdahl walked away from his military unit under suspicious curcumstances. Was he subsequently captured by the enemy?…or was he intentionally fulfilling a traitorous agenda handed down from his father?

Late last week many were shocked to learn that our President ordered the trade of five top-level Gitmo detainees for one foolish soldier. Congress’ approval was not sought, though the law requires that to be so. The President once again did as he desired, disregarding the rules of our land!

As if the matter could not be worse, we are now learning of the Islamic sympathies possessed by both Bowe and his father. It seems that this duo long ago rejected America’s principles of freedom. Bowe expressed a hatred for all that this nation stands for, and his father specifically voiced the goal of facilitating the release of all Gitmo prisoners!

After 911 every American should understand that Islam produces our enemies! However, our progressive leaders have fought that realization every way possible…I’m pretty sure that Bowe Bergdahl knows the truth today!

“I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and did not turn back till they were consumed. I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise; they fell under my feet. For You equipped me with strength for the battle; You made those who rise against me sink under me. You made my enemies turn their backs to me, and those who hated me I destroyed.” (Psalm 18:37-40/ESV)
