When 2 Billion is Just Chump Change

Hillary Clinton

By: Susan Bea Good

The Clinton Foundation for Global Initiative has accepted 2 billion in worldwide donations. That’s an enormous balance for a young “charity” with unclear objectives, but it’s just chump change when compared to the trillions expected in “returns” to donors if Hillary becomes President in 2016.

In my locale a small car dealership is offering $3500 for any trade in. Featured are examples of various traded-in clunkers, and the suggestion that with the purchase of one of their newer vehicles you can expect to “get something for nothing.”

The world’s big players are in this game too, giving donations to politicians, with the expectation that there will be compensation, through favorable legislation, stimulus funds, or foreign aid.

A Clinton Foundation spokesperson claims that, “donors did not give to the Foundation with the expectation of political access.” Right!…they gave out of the generosity of their hearts and a sincere conviction that Hillary Clinton is what the world needs now.

Hillary’s “personal global initiative” is to make herself powerful and rich! It is amazing that she has yet to be satisfied. If she succeeds in her presidential run, she would be 69 years old at inauguration day. Doesn’t she realize that she would spend the last of her healthy years forced to play out the pretense of loving America and Americans?

Regardless of the cost, it looks like Hillary Rodham Clinton is determined to rule the world, and own a lot of what’s in it, before she meets her Maker.

“Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.” (I Corinthians 3:12-14/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it. Adonai Eloheinu!

  1. Sandra Plum says:

Ronald Reagan was 69 years 349 days when he assumed office, and if John McCain had been elected in 2009, he would have been 72 at inauguration. Furthermore, the life expectancy of a woman in the US is five years longer than that of a man. Complaining about Hillary’s age is therefore ridiculous unless you also claim Reagan and McCain were too old to run. Do you believe that?

Anyone who aspires will both be an ambitious person and need to raise a lot of money from donors. This is true regardless of their partisan affiliation. Why are you implying that only candidate or one party does this when they all do?

Also, “playing out the pretense of loving America and Americans” is completely unsubstantiated. Do you have any reliable source for this assertion?

Proverbs 12:22 ESV: Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord

    Peace.

    Sandy.

I understand that you disagree with my assessment of Hillary Clinton. But how do you justify the Scripture application on “lying lips?”

  3. Sandy Plum says:

Do you see a difference between a slanderous assertion you cannot or will not back with evidence, and a lie? “Forced to play out the pretense of loving America and Americans” implies a knowledge of what is in HRC’s heart that you can’t possibly have unless she has said or written something down which is a matter of public record, or you are omniscient. In the former case, you should cite this evidence for your claims, or we must presume you have none and they are not true, so Proverbs 12:22 applies. The latter case we will not entertain. Peace.
