The Baltimore riots continued last night, with a general curfew of 10PM being broken, resulting in more clashes with police and National Guard troops. Broad blame is being offered for this spectacle of the breakdown of civilization.
Everyone is searching for an explanation. “Fatherless” boys, depressed job opportunities, educational challenges, and police brutality are all factors offered to excuse the animal-like behavior when young black men want a “space to destroy.”
Yesterday Billy Murphy, the attorney for Freddie Gray’s family, gave an interview to CNN’s Wolff Blitzer. He acknowledged some of the above factors as explanations for the bad behavior we’re witnessing in Baltimore, and added his own- “the Right!”
Twice in that interview Mr. Murphy declared the “Right” was to blame, as “they have been in power for a long time!”
I couldn’t believe my ears. It’s the “Left” who’ve been in charge for fifty years there in Baltimore, and in most every failing big city in America!
Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, name any large city in America, ruled by corrupt Democrats since the 1960s, and you see Baltimore today. This is not basically a racial or police problem. This is truly a Liberal problem. For five decades liberal Democrats have crushed business opportunities, dumbed down constituents, and aborted “unwanted” children. Resulting in a population who places little value on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It should be no surprise that a perpetual struggle now exists in Left Liberal lands.
“…Should not shepherds feed the sheep? You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the injured you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them. So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd, and they became food for all the wild beasts.” (Ezekiel 34:2-8/ESV)
