It’ll Be an Easy Choice

12 Republican Candidates in the Race

When I must decide which one of many similar items to choose, I start a mental process of elimination. In a short time it becomes clear which one is best. As of June, twelve Republican candidates have declared themselves ready to take on the job of President in 2016. How do we choose which one is best? I think it’s already becoming an easy choice.

For me Friday’s SCOTUS ruling on gay marriage is continuing the process of elimination. Many of the twelve have expressed their ho-hum attitudes over the ruling. Others are suggesting it’s a no-win situation. Some have already thrown in the towel, not even willing to argue the subject further. Only a few remain strong on the side of morality!

Social issues divide this nation. One’s convictions on the past four decades of legalized murder of unborn humans, amnesty for illegals, Common Core, and the freshly recognized legal status of perverted human sexuality are going to determine the national leaders we have in the next election cycle.

This time is comparable to giving birth, without an ultrasound preview of exactly what to expect. The outcome of this “birth” will be one or the other, and it won’t be known which one until the end.

If voters want a thoroughly debauched culture, they can have it in full, by electing more liberal Democrats to office in 2016. If our citizens (and I do mean legal voters) wake up and realize the extreme danger our American culture is facing, and vote for true godly Conservatives, there may be a reason to hope again.

(The Lord God) “If at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom, that I will pluck up and break down and destroy it, and if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I intended to do to it.” (Jeremiah 18:7-8/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it. Adonai Eloheinu!
