Bold and Reckless: Carson for President!

Eighteen months ago I shook the hand of Dr. Ben Carson. His personal and professional history is impressive. His love for America is inspiring. His commitment to God is comforting. I find myself trusting Ben Carson, and believing he could be a tremendous blessing in the office of President of the United States.

Carson doesn’t demand attention. He doesn’t speak in smoothly delivered sound bytes. To the contrary, Dr. Carson has a reputation for thoughtfully weighing all facts, and delivering bold responses in measured tones…which amounts to recklessness!

It’s reckless to reject the status quo of the politically correct. Carson doesn’t “play by the rules.” Instead he offers the honest assessments and radical advice necessary to overcome the challenges America faces in this world.

He’s challenging me to go further than superficial positions on the Second Amendment, immigration, and the Black community.

This evening my husband and I watched an old documentary on Dr. Ben Carson. At the close we both came to the same conclusion, this guy might actually be our next President!

I have hope, and do believe it may be possible that God would use a President Ben Carson to “Heal, Inspire, and Revive” this nation.

“Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved!” (Psalm 80:19/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it. Adonai Eloheinu!
