The T-Master Threat to a Conservative Win in November

By: Susan Bea Good

Donald Trump’s crude character was on full display at Saturday’s Republican Debate. I remain incredulous that this man has any followers. Considering the field of choices available there is no reason to reach into the dirt for a fraudulent Republican to represent us in the general election. And yet, Trump’s poll numbers remain very high, and pundits warn that he is very close to being unstoppable in the primary season.

The Trumpets I personally know demonstrate much of the same prideful, underhanded behavioral tendencies which I’ve observed in their T-Master. At this time it seems impossible for the T-Master to drive away his worshippers. These folks applaud his repetitive foolish campaign statements, and roar approvingly when he explodes with expletives or wild accusations towards his opponents.

The T-Master phenomena is insidious. This weekend I found it among many online homeschool support groups. This demographic is consistently biblically based, family oriented, and politically conservative. Yet, a couple of Trumpets have emerged even among this populace. Once trusted advocates for homeschooling families, these womens’ postings accuse Ted Cruz of attacking our cause.

Though the pro-Trump threat seems to be here to stay, there is now a growing anti-Trump threat. An increasing number of Conservatives are declaring they will not vote for Donald Trump, EVER! That means that if the foolish, cowardly, and power hungry in the Republican Party insist on serving up the lowest character candidate, Democrats will win the Presidential election in 2016!

The T-Master and his followers are a threat to our best hope for Conservatism’s renewal in the world.

“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness…” (Acts 5:29/ESV)

This blogger’s purpose is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it. Adonai Eloheinu!
