“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” (Matthew 5:6/ESV)
Barak Obama’s “Bathroom Edict” is threatening to end traditional Public Education. This stupid move is capable of remaking America in one sweep! It’s time for America’s churches to open their doors and treasuries to assist the non-traditional Homeschooling efforts in their cities.
When America’s children are unsafe in their own local Public Schools it’s time to make a change. For decades America’s parents have accepted every Liberal social restructure heaped onto our school aged children’s backs. Why anyone is still in this system baffles me, truly. The arguments I hear are always the same, and always lame. “Not everyone can…” Really? Not every parent can do what’s best for their child? How about a real fight? Can you do that for your child? If you want to keep the convenience of the local Public School why aren’t you fighting to keep them free from Liberal manipulation? Why has it taken this “Potty Bill” to awaken you from your minion-like compliance?
OK, if my friends in the Public Schools are still listening…I’ll say it another way. Wake up now! It’s late and you are responsible for the environment your children live in for the majority of their childhood!
I homeschool now. It’s not easy. I’m not free to do whatever I want, like go shopping, or have a paid job. I sacrifice to keep out of the Public system. It’s been worth it!
I also teach in a homeschool co-op which meets on Mondays at a local church. There are a dozen churches in that same small rural city which could also open their doors Monday through Friday for other Homeschool co-ops. If you’d like to join my group, I am one example of a mom who can help get your child through their primary and secondary educational years. Give me a call for more information. We can work this out together. Your children do not have to be ruined by Barak Obama’s liberal licentiousness.
This blogger’s hope is to be an encouragement to Christ-followers as they seek to participate in God’s Big Picture. Adonai Eloheinu!
