Week After Rant

(Jesus) “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20/ESV)

This election was a great opportunity to stand on the testimony of Jesus Christ. The church in America missed it! American Evangelicals applied at least a dozen excuses for abandoning biblical principals in order to claim a prize of worldly value. I chose not to do that! Now my world is saturated with name calling (traitor, coward, idiot, fool, un-American, liberal, Hillary-lover, abortion-lover, etc). These names are hurled at me and others who refused to submit to the strong pressure to bow to an idol.

The hatred I am witnessing coming from the body of Christ is unacceptable. No, my honest warnings about sin are not “hate.” My warnings then and now are 100% based upon a faith that God will accomplish His will for America without Christians wallowing in sin to win an election. The hatred I witnessed directed towards Hillary Clinton is sin! The gloating, at the real pain of 1/2 of the population of America, is sin!

American Evangelicals have a history of rejecting “common” sinners. Yet these same Evangelicals (KJV only, no tattoos, no alcohol, etc) are actually self-righteous, dirty vessels, and hypocrites! Amazing isn’t it!?

I will not bow with the hypocrites! I will continue to reach out to those Jesus died to save. I will not beg for a drop of acceptance coming from the filthy cups! You who stand in need of clean hearts do not listen…and today I am finished talking to you.

“This blogger’s hope is to be an encouragement to faithful Christ-followers as they recognize God’s Big Picture and purpose to participate in it. Adonai Eloheinu!”
